Well, I've gone and done it.
I've purchased my first
Johanna Parker Halloween piece.
This is the Johanna Parker
Carnival Cottage "Sassy Cat" Bowl.
HomeGoods $12.99
I'm and fan of smiling cats for Halloween
and I wanted in on the JP craze.

The YouTube channels I watch,
(Cris the Girl, Jack Valentine, and others)
are simply gaga over all things, Johanna Parker.
I used to follow Ms. Parker's blog
years ago when she would post often
source
about her hand made creations from all holidays.
She would travel to and sell at
Holiday art shows and trunk shows.
I think she bases her cat creations on
her black cat, Jack.
but made the mistake of sitting it back on the shelf
to "Think About It", it wasn't there when I went back.
I thought it would be neat to own since she did a tutorial post on how it was created.
From concept sketch to finish product.
Maybe I'll have better luck next year.
I remember when I got on the
Debbie Mumm Band wagon.
It resulted in this cute
little monster mug.
I really loved her pumpkin cookie jar,
but never managed to get one.
Her style has a real quilt like quality to it.
haunted house cookie jar, circa 1998.
for me to climb back on the
Debbie Mumm band wagon.
It's time my mug had a family reunion.
Thanks for stopping by
and Happy Haunting!
