Happy Thanksgiving 2020

Hope everyone is playing it Covid safe this year
but still enjoying a happy Thanksgiving.
Remember last year when I had just acquired
the Williams-Sonoma pheasant vase at an
excellent sale price?
I posted about it here.

It was thanks to a tip from Susan's blog,
"Between Naps On The Porch".
I had promised then that I would create
a tablescape for it this year.
Well soon after that purchase, W.S. had a big
clearance sale on several of their Fall/Thanksgiving
table top items, and with permission from
Samantha, I sprang into action.
Here are the results...
What a great price on their
Acorn Harvest Jacquard Table Runner
I chose the charcoal option. Normally $79.95
I only paid $47.99!  How cool is that?
I had some leftover Twizzlers from Halloween
so they found their way into a celery vase
and onto the table this year.
I waited till a clearance sale this year
 to grab these beauties.
Also from Williams-Sonoma,
The Plymouth Turkey salad plates.
Only $9.99 each down from $14.95.
The dinner plates were from last year's
W.S. clearance buying spree!
The Autumn Plaid Dinner plates.
They didn't return this year.
Only the chargers from that line came back.
I only paid $26.99 for all four and free shipping!
That's a deal!
The hammered copper chargers are from Pier 1.
Sam and I were collecting them one at a time
per year or two.
I know, not the smartest move.
Till one day, mid summer, I walked in to see them
on clearance and panicked bought the last three.
Good thing I saw them then because they're gone now!
We were collecting copper flatware from Pier 1 too.
Also one place setting at a time till,
we were in HomeGoods
and ran across this set.
We promptly purchased those and returned
two place settings to Pier 1, tags still attached.
The hammered copper finish
porcelain pumpkin plates
are also from HomeGoods at $4.99 each.
The napkins are another spoil
from the 2019 clearance war.
They are the Plymouth Plaid Napkins in Orange
a set of 4 for $14.99.
They match the plates perfectly!
The glasses are from the Dollar Tree
a few years back.
Sam found this copper finish aluminum
leaf bowl at HomeGoods and thought it would
fit in nicely and she was right!
Made in India for $5.99.
So that completes the NEW
Thanksgiving Tablescape.
Not bad for a one year time frame,
if I do say so myself!
A pretty good savings too
with all the clearance prices.
Nothing new on the hutch-buffet this year.
I did set the Pier 1 lantern
on the top left corner.
The dry goods pantry is all decked out for Thanksgiving,
Turkey light and all.

I moved a Pier 1 turkey plate atop the wall clock
this year, looks right at home.
Below the clock we find a jolly fall vignette.
There's a Hallmark caramel apple candy dish
filled with caramel squares.
The Dept 56 Harvest Apple Orchard, I just love the details.

Check out this little fella, An Annalee mouse
also shopping for some apples.
Because it's just not a holiday
without a little Annalee.
Moving over to the new table
We find the Scarecrow Havest Festival
going on at the Dept 56 building I found
a few years back on EBay.
We bought these plaid pumpkins at AtHome this year

The green cabinet now has the former
Thanksgiving table runner
form Cost Plus World Market
and a large Cornucopia candleholder
from Blue Sky, circa 2011.
we found at HomeGoods for $49.99.
I hope everyone has a bountiful Thanksgiving
and at least have a good, safe phone call
with friends and family.
Thanks for stopping by,
and happy hunting!
