We liked our stained glass light hanging
over our kitchen table.
I, however, was a bit disappointed that I
couldn't decorate it like the fancy chandeliers
found in many decorating blogs.
I found it at BEST back in the late 90's
so I felt maybe it was time for an update.
I had my eye on those wooden bead
chandeliers for some time.
Here's one I liked while Sam and I visited
North Carolina, and toured a few shops
with her son and daughter-in-law.
It was pricey and only had four lights, plus it may have been a tad too long.
So I kept looking.
on my phone and came across this one...
It has wooden beads, six lights, wasn't too big,
and the best part, it was on sale for only $51.00!!
I showed Sam and we ordered it posthaste!
It must have been a mismark because
it went up in price right after we bought it,
and has never been that low again!
I installed it as soon as it arrived.
It is a very nice light, I ordered
the "Rustic" version to blend
with the country theme.
The beads make it seem
modern and stylish and I can't wait
to decorate it for the holidays.
There is one thing I miss though,
it doesn't shine light directly on our
table like our stained glass one did.
But it does light up the room
more than ever before.
I guess that's the compromise.
I'll just have to get used to darker food!
I just noticed little Lena peeking in
the back door in the above picture!
She's thinking, "Hurry with the picture
then let me in."
Thank for stopping by
and Happy Hunting!
