A Hoppy Easter Tablescape

After four years in the making...
The time has come to showcase
The Ozark Easter Tablescape!
Drumroll please......
Ta-Daaa!
I know, it's not the most spectacular
Easter tablescape in blogland, far from it, but
after four years of trying to piece one together,
we're rather proud of it.
Newly acquired this year is our centerpiece,
a large white bunny with a basket on his back.
I added the Hydrangea for color.
We found him at Williams-Sonoma
They claim he was Inspired by the
whimsical illustrations in vintage storybooks.
We think he's simply perfect.
The pastel stripe table runner was a
lucky find from HomeGoods two years ago,
it has all the colors we used in our scape.
The bunnies with the baskets
came from Michael's in 2010.
After seeing them on Susan's table
we just had to have them.
She used them as napkin rings then and later
as treat holders.
The hobnail glasses are
another new addition this year from Pier One.
They're the Emma Hobnail Tumblers.
I thought the hobnail added a touch of nostalgia
to the scape and a little whimsy.
I'm sure you noticed the
calorie free cupcakes?
They're from Pier One ca. 2013
We just had to have them after we procured
the cutest bunny cupcake stands from
Pottery Barn in January of last year.
Bunny Dessert Stands $14.50 ea.
I have a post about them here.
Each cupcake is covered in
a sugar like coating and features
a little springtime character on top.
Here's a little blue bird.
The salad plates are from the
"Rabbit" line by Bordallo Pinheiro.

We've had them the longest,
they were picked up for $3.99 each at Ross
many years ago.
Under the salad plate we find new napkins
in the "Hoppy Spring" fabric,

sewn up by Sam's talented friend Eden.

They're double sided half circles
folded in a pie shape to show off both colors...
all Eden's idea! Brilliant!!
The white dinner plates are also new
this year from Pier One.
They're part of the Madeline line,
with a simple decorative edge.
They add a bit of elegance.
For a place mat I wanted a
natural material that might represent
something bunnies would like.
Again, it's Pier One to the rescue,
with their woven water hyacinth mats.
The airy loops bring the whimsy level
up a few more notches.
The set of four bread plates
came from Kohl's two years ago from their
"Blossoms & Blooms" line.
They not only crank up the white bunny count,
they help tie all the colors together pleasingly.
Another butterfly cupcake
on the pink place setting.
The purple glass bunny in a basket covered
candy dish was from HomeGoods
about four years ago.
Do you see those little glass eggs, gems,
and beads laying all around the table?

They call it table scatter at Pier One,
it adds a little sparkle and interest
to the table.
"Just don't eat it!!"
The yellow place setting has
a flower topped cupcake.
"Don't eat those either!!"
That completes our grand circle tour
of the Ozark Easter Tablescape.

I hope everybunny had an Eggcellent time!
Thanks for hopping by
and happy hunting!

What a fun bunny hopping tablescape! I love each and every Easter collection you have assembled. The bunny with basket from W/S is one I almost bought. Your cute cupcake stand add height to the stack of plates. The table is ready for you to celebrate Easter. Hope you will pop over to view my collection of Beatrice Potter for it reminds me of your treasures. Have a great week!

I love your tablescape. I think it is perfectly charming! I especially adore the bunnies and your wonderful collection bunny plates. The new William Sonoma bunny is such a handsome specimen sporting those lovely hydrangeas in his basket.

This my first year blogging and my first year of posting tablescapes too. Susan at Between Naps On The Porch has inspired many a would be tablescaper including me. I cannot tell you how many times I have seen something at Susan's that I suddenly just had to have too. I am visiting from Tablescape Thursday and I am now your newest member.

Have a wonderful weekend.... Candy
